Accomplishments

As our Port Commissioner, Stephanie has:

Lead the effort to combine the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma maritime operations, ending decades of unhealthy competition and resulting in increased trade and jobs in the state;
Tripled the number of youth job training opportunities at the Port through an expanded internship program in partnership with Seattle Public Schools;
Invested in local communities with a new countywide economic development program that provides resources for every city to invest in local projects; and,
Spearheaded numerous efforts to expand environmental initiatives at Sea-Tac International Airport to reduce the carbon footprint of airport operations.
